Prejudice is a sleek and curvy design sofa made by the Spanish agency Sanserif Creatius. The seat features a broad seat and a gently curving backrest. The interior shape becomes an integrated footrest or a coffee table, or just an armchair with the same benefits but more compact. Moreover, the Prejudice is made out of completely recycled cardboard wich makes it eco and gives it its devilish good. More info at Wow Magazine.

Bogamia nº12 · Sanserif Creatius
El asiento Bold, el módulo auxiliar Duduá y el sofá Prejudice de Sanserif Creatius han sido los elegidos para ilustrar las páginas centrales del último número de la revista Bogamia. El magazine con base en Miami se ha especializado en destacar propuestas artísticas y nuevas tendencias asociadas al diseño y la moda.
Bogamia nº12 · p.23 Bold
Una de las piezas elegidas es el asiento Bold, un icono en la trayectoria de Sanserif Creatius. Un asiento que puede funcionar como silla o banco de cartón ondulado 100% biodegradable (70% de materia prima reciclada y 30% fibra natural). Funcional, de producción económica y seriada, basada en un troquel único, y con una resistencia estimada en test de compresión de mil kg.
Bogamia nº12 · p.25 Duduá
Junto a él, el módulo auxiliar Duduá en tono natural del cartón, aunque puede personalizarse con una amplía gama de colores, vinilos o con impresión fotográfica de alta calidad -las caras lisas-. Una pieza versátil que permite su disposición como mesa auxiliar, banco corrido y/o librería creciendo en múltiples disposiciones verticales u horizontales. Además, dada su estabilidad y robustez puede actuar también como soporte de mesa para un sobre de cristal o madera, tal y como se aprecia en la imagen.
Bogamia nº12 · p.27 Prejudice
El reportaje también presenta Prejudice, un conjunto de butacas que pueden usarse independientemente o modularse para conformar un sofá, al tiempo que se acompañan de dos unidades complementarias que se extraen para actuar como una mesita o reposapiés, permitiendo un gran número de disposiciones.
En esencia, un recorrido por el universo particular del mobiliario biodegradable de Sanserif Creatius, cuya puesta en escena forma parte de la colaboración habitual de su directora creativa, Ana Yago, con el fotógrafo Eduardo Peris.

El conjunto de butacas Prejudice, que se transforman en sofá o en dos módulos independientes, han sido elegido por Design & Design como un referentes del nuevo diseño español. Este portal especializado, dirigido por Marc Praquin y que edita anualmente una recopilación de trabajos destacados, ha destacado varios trabajos de Sanserif Creatius en los últimos años, desde los pictogramas suicidas realizados para una conocida firma de moda hasta el asiento Valentina o el libro-objeto Hiatus.

La periodista e historiadora Anatxu Zabalbeascoa dedica una entrada a Sanserif Creatius en su blog Del tirador a la ciudad, en El País. La butaca Prejudice, un sistema modular y versátil que igual puede convertirse en un sofá que en un completo set de relax, es la elegida para presentar nuestra filosofía de trabajo. Un placer formar parte de la colección de objetos en los que se fija esta rara avis de la crítica que traduce en palabras la poesía visual de los referentes del diseño y la arquitectura.
Nosotros todavía somos un cuarteto, no llegamos a poema, pero seguiremos con la misma rima, asonante para muchos, pero que, en ocasiones, trae agradables sorpresas como este artículo.

It consists of a set of seats which can be used individually or can be integrated together to create a sofa. The seat of the chair has been designed to conceal footrest and a coffee table inside.
These complementary units can be extracted from the furniture and offer options of a host of positions. The design of the chair makes it ideal to be used in various areas. Prejudice forms part of a limited edition furniture line which in turn, is a part of the collaboration project with the Association of Corrugated Board Manufacturers and the Special Employment Centre of Apai Foundation. This awesome recycled cardboard armchair from Sanserif Creatius is a curvy and comfortable piece that maximizes space by concealing a separate footrest and coffee table within its seat. Dubbed ‘Prejudice’, the chair incorporates three elements in one using 100% recycled cardboard as its base material.
